Prior to philosophy, I studied jazz for two years at Capilano University in Vancouver, Canada. After many years performing as a guitarist, I started playing the vibraphone while in graduate school, and it is now my primary instrument. I recently performed in the Jazz Combo at Cal State, East Bay, directed by Dann Zinn.
